Got to give credit where credit is due. The Rams won a big one, and thanks in large part from their defense, and Kyren Williams being able to break a handful of runs free. They have an identity, and they tend to have Seattle's number, which makes them the current top spot in power rankings.
(7-3) L1
It's easy to say that if Darnold doesn't turn the ball over then they win that game, but it's unfortunately true. It's turnovers that are the difference in games that truly matter, as every possesion matters. That all being said, they only drop one spot, because there is a world where Myers makes that game winning field goal, and this is the 8-2 team atop the NFC West. Being within 2 in a game where you turn it over 4 times is insane.
(8-2) W1
bye week. They could put a massive dent in the Chiefs playoffs hopes this week.
(9-2) W8
A game that they were supposed to win, they won. No trap game or nothing here.
(7-3) W1
The Bills are always going to be in the conversation for Super Bowls when they have that man at QB. I mean, SIX touchdowns? Are you kidding me?
(8-2) W4
It seems that I am lower on the Eagles compared to other Power Rankings, so let me explain. They don't beat the Rams if they play again, the Seahawks defense would be too much for this struggling offense, They couldn't handle a shootout with Indy, New England is too polished all around and are getting great QB play, and they probably wouldn't hang in a shootout with Josh Allen either. 6 is a fine spot for this team.
(9-2) W8
Just a massive victory that could change the landscape of the AFC going forward for years. When it mattered, Bo Nix outplayed Mahomes. Unreal thing to say in 2025.
(6-4) L1
This loss is due to poor coaching in my opinion. I get wanting to go for the big fish and score touchdowns instead of field goals, but you gotta have some feel. Your defense is playing great, just take your points. Hindsight is 20/20, sure, but if that was the NFC Divisional round, are they going to be that careless again?
(7-4) W1
I forgive Purdy for assuming there would be a QB controversy. They looked like a far better team on offense with Purdy at the helm, and that defense, despite it's injuries, still plays insanely inspired. I could see this team getting hot.
(6-4) L2
It's hard to be harsh on this team, considering they are hanging in a lot of tough games. This is probably their last chance to sort of hang on to a top 10 spot, and they play the Rams on primetime. Yikes.
(7-3) W3
Got to give credit to this team, 7-3 is not easy in this league. We'll see some true tests soon for Chicago, but finding ways to win games is the DNA of a good team, and they are finding ways.
(6-3-1) W1
It feels like every other week the Packers are having an ugly win, or an ugly loss. This was the former, and despite the injuries to Love for a possession and to Jacobs, this is a game that needs to be put away a little cleaner. The Giants just fired their head coach, and Winston is playing his first game in a little under a full year. Have to clean it up.
(6-4) W1
That is the kind of win that changes the energy of the season. They are now holding a playoff spot with a game on the Chiefs, and a relatively cakewalk schedule from here on out, They are going to be giving their all.
(5-5) L2
Okay, let's talk about Kansas City. Some are nervous to say the Chiefs are cooked, while some would see this as still too high of a spot to give them. Here's the reality: They are 5-5, with no victories over playoff teams. If they lose 2 or more games, they can kiss the playoffs goodbye. Who is to blame for them being in this kind of spot? I look at two things: the run game, and Mahomes. The run game is nonexistent. Without a run game, you won't be able to put away games, nor can you topple a defense that isn't afraid of your run game, and can just play against the pass. Also, Mahomes is getting outplayed this season when it matters. He got outplayed by Trevor Lawrence on primetime, and Bo Nix on Sunday. Who's to say he won't get outplayed by any of the AFC QB's I have in front of the Chiefs?
(7-4) L1
As much as the Chiefs season is spiraling, we need to keep an eye on this team as well. It's not looking great for the Chargers, as the offensive line is malfunctioning yet again, and an ugly loss to the Jags could put their playoff hopes in jeapordy.
(5-5) W4
I get that they tend to play the Browns close, but considering the state of the Browns, I don't think it's a good look whatsoever.
(6-4) W1
Just an alright win. Rodgers could miss some time, but I don't really think it'll effect their win total.
(6-5) W1
Bryce Young is quietly having a solid season. I think he should be their QB without a doubt moving forward.
(5-5) W2
I get that Davis Mills is your QB, but you just beat the Jaguars with him. I expect the Texans to handle the worst team in the league better than a game winning field goal as time expires.
(4-5-1) W1
Solid win, as the defense seemed to have made some strides as they got several players back on that side of the ball. This team could be in a position to essentially eliminate the Chiefs from the playoffs on Thanksgiving day.
(4-6) L2
I mean, McCarthy is not looking good at all. I get he's a young kid, but this was a roster and team that just won 14 games last season. This team was ready to win now, and now with the McCarthy dilema, it could be setting this franchise back.
(3-7) L2
Unfortunate that they were at the mercy of a Niners team getting their QB back, right after the Seahawks just kicked their butt.
(4-7) W2
I mean, the Dolphins are one win away from surpassing the win total I projected for them this year, so they are playing better than I wouldv'e thought.
(3-7) L5
Andddd they might have just lost Penix for the season. Morris has to be gone at least by the end of the season.
(3-7) L3
There is nothing that can be said about this Bengals team that hasn't already been said. Burrow is best off just not returning to the field this year.
(3-8) L6
The season is essentially all but over for Washington. Please don't rush Daniels back to the field.
(2-8) W1
bye week.
(2-9) L5
This team seems to be trying to have some fun with the season from here on out, and I can respect that.
(2-8) L1
That may be it for any actual chances Fields will get in the NFL, and that makes me feel pretty sad.
(2-8) L4
Geno will not be the starting QB for the Raiders in 2026. I don't know who it will be, but it won't be him.
(2-8) L3
I think people were too harsh on Sanders, but I also think they were too harsh on Gabriel too. Take out the frustration on Stefanski, the man who put his team and QB's in this position to fail.
(1-9) L5
Almost had it, but now they are going to feel the wrath of a Seattle team that just lost.
