Is this the best week of the year by just about any player? This entire summer I have been holding off picking Judge for player of the week, sort of saving it for a rainy day, and boy did that day come. Other players had solid weeks, but come on, it would be egregious not to pick Judge. He hit 7 home runs. That is simply insane, I really shouldn't have to elaborate on why.

Noel had the second highest OPS and wRC+ of any player this week, which makes Aaron Judge's numbers even more impressive. However, Noel has slowly made himself a key cog in a lineup that will want to make a splash in October. Noel has displayed top-end bat speed and barrel rates, which means he has a power arsenal he hasn't even fully tapped into yet.
Gavin Stone

Stone stepped up in a huge way for a rotation that has had injury issues, and inconsistency all season. The rotation is the biggest thing holding this team back to this point in the season, as with Muncy, Edman, and Betts returning to the lineup, they are putting up runs. Thanks to Stone, they haven't given up many runs either. The two biggest stats that jump out at me is the 14 innings pitched within a week, and 17 strikeouts. Performances like this will greatly help this team not fail in the postseason.
