1..Detroit Lions (6-1)
-
They dropped how many points, and Goff and the offense only had that many points?! Add elite special teams to the Lions resume, and only 14 points allowed in a blowout. This team is really special.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Titans, 52-14
J. Goff
12/15, 85 Yds,3 TD
J. Gibbs
11 Car, 127 Yds, TD
S. La Porta
6 Rec, 48 Yds, TD
2..Kansas City Chiefs (7-0)
+1
Stop me if you've heard this before, but the Chiefs win again, and in a not really impressive fashion. This team could play way better, and playing against a very weak Raiders team, and only beating them by 7, is concerning to a degree, nonetheless, they move up a spot.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Raiders, 27-20
P. Mahomes
27/38, 262 Yds, 2 TD, INT
K. Hunt
21 Car, 59 Yds, TD
T. Kelce
10 Rec, 90 Yds, TD
3..Buffalo Bills (6-2)
+2
Elite performance, all around. The Bills are for real.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Seahawks, 31-10
J. Allen
24/34, 283 Yds, 2 TD, INT
J. Cook
17 Car, 111 Yds, 2 TD
K. Shakir
9 Rec, 107 Yds
4..Baltimore Ravens (5-3)Â
-
Yes they lost, but I am taking it with a grain of salt, to a degree. For one, they just added Dionte Johnson, and another thing, this was a classic AFC North game. I am not reading too far into it, unless they also lose to the Broncos next week.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Browns, 29-24
L. Jackson
23/38, 289 Yds, 2 TD
D. Henry
11 Car, 73 Yds, TD
Z. Flowers
7 Rec, 115 Yds
5. Green Bay Packers (6-2)
+1
This game was far closer than it needed to be, but part of that can be attributed to Love going down. That being said, it's still an elite offense, and the defense Is still very smart.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Jaguars, 30-27
J. Love
14/22, 196 Yds, INT
J. Jacobs
25 Car, 127 Yds, 2 TD
T. Kraft
3 Rec, 78 Yds, TD
6..Minnesota Vikings (5-2)
-4
The Vikings aren't going to collapse. I know that's what a lot of people are thinking after 2 consecutive losses after going 5-0. The reality is, they played the best team in the league and lost on a last second FG, and kind of had a trap game, playing thursday night against a Rams team that activated Puca that day. They are going to be okay, especially because the schedule is too easy.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Rams, 30-20
S. Darnold
18/25, 240 Yds, 2 TD
A. Jones
19 Car, 58 Yds
J. Jefferson
8 Rec, 115 Yds
7..Houston Texans (6-2)
-
The biggest loss for the Texans was losing Diggs for the season, and knowing they gave up a 2, and don't have him under contract next season, that hurts really bad. That being said, this team is playing just well enough.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Colts, 23-20
C. Stroud
25/37, 285 Yds, TD
J. Mixon
25 Car, 102 Yds, TD
S. Diggs
5 Rec, 81 Yds
8..Washington Commanders (6-2)
+1
An ugly game, but when you have guys like that at QB, you can win ugly, for sure.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Bears, 18-15
J. Daniels
21/38, 326 Yds, TD
B. Robinson
16 Car, 65 Yds
T. McLaurin
5 Rec, 125 Yds
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)
+1
The Steelers had 426 total yards, and was moving the ball incredibly efficiently. They could have put up more points if it weren't for a couple TDs being called back. A super well-rounded team, and if Russ decides to get better and even more comfortable in this offense than he already is, then it might be time to watch out for this team as a top contender in the AFC.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Giants, 26-18
R. Wilson
20/28, 278 Yds, TD
N. Harris
19 Car, 114 Yds
G. Pickens
4 Rec, 74 Yds
10. Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)
+3
Watch out now, the Eagles are playing really good football. It certainly does help to have your elite wideouts back in the lineup, but the defense has been just as impressive. Cooper Dejean is making his presence known, flying around the field.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Bengals, 37-17
J. Hurts
16/20, 236 Yds, TD
S. Barkley
22 Car, 108 Yds
D. Smith
6 Rec, 85 Yds, TD
11. Atlanta Falcons (5-3)
-
They are going to make the playoffs, but this team needs to start being a little more consistent and find more of an identity on offense and defense.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Bucs, 31-26
K. Cousins
23/29, 276 Yds, 4 TD
B. Robinson
13 Car, 63 Yds
D. Mooney
5 Rec, 92 Yds, TD
12. San Francisco 49ers (4-4)
+2
Maybe I was too harsh last week, because this team is going into it's bye and getting CMC back with only a 4-4 record, in a very winnable NFC West. If this team is 100%, they are one of the last teams you want to play, period.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Cowboys, 30-24
B. Purdy
18/26, 260 Yds, TD
I. Guerendo
14 Car, 85 Yds, TD
G. Kittle
6 Rec, 128 Yds, TD
13. Tampa Bay Bucs (4-4)
-5
That was probably the last opponent the Bucs wanted to play this week, and for good reason. They are in no position WR room-wise to play in a shootout. That's not to say the offense is bad, Mayfield is still playing well and the run game is great, they just were in no spot to do a shootout. Still a good team.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Falcons, 31-26
B. Mayfield
37/50, 330 Yds, 3 TD, 2 INT
B. Irving
9 Car, 44 Yds
C. Otton
9 Rec, 81 Yds, 2 TD
14. Chicago Bears (4-3)
-2
It's not a great look for the Bears, when their wins are against bad teams, and they struggle to show up offensively against good teams. I'll admit, they technically were on track to beat the Commanders had a Hail Mary not happened, that being said, they didn't really deserve to win. I think there needs to be a new coach and a bit of a culture change.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Commanders, 18-16
C. Williams
10/24, 131 Yds
D. Swift
18 Car, 129 Yds, TD
R. Odunze
3 Rec, 41 Yds
15. Los Angeles Chargers (4-3)
+3
This is the most Jim Harbaugh a Jim Harbaugh team can be. They beat the bad teams, and give the good teams their best shot. If this team can continue to win the games they are "supposed to" then they can have a date with the playoffs.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Saints, 26-8
J. Herbert
20/32, 279 Yds, 2 TD
J. Dobbins
17 Car, 57 Yds, TD
L. McConkey
6 Rec, 111 Yds, 2 TD
16. Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)
-
Yes they lost, but I still think this is a team to be feared, to an extent. If you are an opposing team, and next up on the schedule is the Bengals, there is still a large part of you that is nervous and worried about them. They are still far too talented to completely fall off at this point.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Eagles, 37-17
J. Burrow
26/37, 234 Yds, TD, INT
C. Brown
12 Car, 32 Yds, TD
M. Gesicki
7 Rec, 73 Yds
17. Los Angeles Rams (3-4)
+5
That is what getting two top 15 receivers in the league will get you on offense. This win could and might already have altered the entire season for the Rams. That being said, I do think they didn't play a particularly clean game, got away with some bad calls throughout and some poor defense still, but it is a step in the right direction.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Vikings, 30-20
M. Stafford
25/34, 279 Yds, 4 TD, INT
K. Williams
23 Car, 97 Yds
P. Nacua
7 Rec, 106 Yds
18. Seattle Seahawks (4-4)
-3
That was a really bad loss. Was it because they were missing DK? Honestly, I don't think DK would have mattered. This is still an incredibly talented WR room without him, and if that's not enough for them to at least put up a fight, that's concerning. Geno is playing at a very very odd level right now.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Bills, 31-10
G. Smith
21/29, 212 Yds, INT
G. Smith
5 Car, 16 Yds
J. Smith-Njigba
6 Rec, 69 Yds
19. Denver Broncos (5-3)
-
This was Bo Nix's best game yet. Yes it was against Carolina, and everyone beats up on them, but it was still nice to see the young guy do well. That being said, I am not putting this team any higher until I see how they do against the Ravens next week, and the Chiefs later in the season.
Last Week's Game:
Beat the Panthers, 28-14
B. Nix
28/37, 284 Yds, 3 TD
J. McLaughlin
8 Car, 47 Yds
C. Sutton
8 Rec, 100 Yds
20. Arizona Cardinals (4-4)
-
I still am very hesitant to buy into the Cardinals, for a couple of reasons. I still think they are the worst in their division. Yes they stomped the Rams, and the Seahawks have been stumbling, but they lack the entire package that those teams have. I'm not saying I'm not impressed with how they've played, I just don't see it translating in the win column consistently this season.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Dolphins, 28-27
K. Murray
26/36, 307 Yds, 2 TD
J. Conner
20 Car, 53 Yds, TD
T. McBride
9 Rec, 124 Yds
21. Dallas Cowboys (3-4)
-4
It is the blame game in Dallas. Is it Prescott? Is it McCarthy? Is it Jerry Jones? It's Jerry Jones. This team had clear things they needed to address in the offseason, and instead, they ignored them, and now they are paying huge dividends to their season. A gauntlet upcoming for the Cowboys, will be interested to see how it goes for them.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the 49ers, 30-24
D. Prescott
25/38, 242 Yds, 2 TD, 2 INT
E. Elliott
10 Car, 34 Yds, TD
C. Lamb
13 Rec, 146 Yds, 2 TD
22. Indianapolis Colts (4-4)
-1
Anthony Richardson is fascinating to me. Last season, he was great, until he got hurt. This season, he hasn't been able to pass the ball well, which doesn't make sense because we saw him be efficient as a rookie. This is a solid roster in Indy, and with a weak AFC, this team could sneak into the playoffs. They are going to have to make a call: Either stick with Richardson and let him develop, or go with Flacco and try and make the playoffs. Me personally, I think you ride it out with Richardson. There is a great QB in there somewhere, and I honestly don't think it's worth it to just get a worse draft pick by going a little further with Flacco.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Texans, 23-20
A. Richardson
10/32, 175 Yds, TD, INT
J. Taylor
20 Car, 105 Yds, TD
J. Downs
4 Rec, 109 Yds, TD
23. New York Giants (2-6)
+2
Honestly very satisfyed with the skill positions on offense for the Giants. Tracy, Nabers, and Shepard seem like a solid core that you could build a offense for the future with. The problem comes with the QB play, and honestly, the coaching. I like Daboll, but he is making it relatively hard for him to keep his job with bonehead ideas like that 2 point conversion.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Steelers, 26-18
D. Jones
24/38, 264 Yds, INT
T. Tracy
20 Car, 145 Yds, TD
D. Slayton
4 Rec, 108 Yds
24. Cleveland Browns (2-6)
+8
I mean, wow, Winston and the Browns just impressed me big time. This was an entirely different team, almost to a point where I can't really fault the Ravens for losing, they gameplanned for a completely different team than the team that showed up Sunday. It will be interesting to see how this team does with the schedule upcoming.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Ravens, 29-24
J. Winston
24/39, 276 Yds, TD, 2 INT
B. Hall
12 Car, 38 Yds, TD
B. Hall
6 Rec, 103 Yds
25. New Orleans Saints (2-6)
-2
Yikes. It hurts to see Rattler get benched, because he was something a lot of Saints fans were excited to see. I wouldn't say it will be his last shot, but it still is crushing.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Chargers, 26-8
S. Rattler
12/24, 156 Yds
A. Kamara
10 Car, 67 Yds
C. Olave
8 Rec, 107 Yds
26. Miami Dolphins (2-5)
-
The offense looked marginally better than it has without Tua, but still lacked the big play, which was their bread and butter last year. Perhaps I am still a little too low on them, but I want to see the explosiveness before I start buying into them more.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Cardinals, 28-27
T. Tagovailoa
28/38, 234 Yds, INT
D. Achane
10 Car, 97 Yds
T. Hill
6 Rec, 72 Yds
27. Las Vegas Raiders (2-6)
+1
The craziest thing is this was such a winnable game for the Raiders. The one everyone will point to is when they got the interception to the KC 3 yard line, then didn't come away with any points. Sure you can give the Chiefs defense props, but when you run it to Mattison 4 times, it likely is easy to defend.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Chiefs, 27-20
G. Minshew
24/30, 209 Yds, 2 TD
A. Mattison
14 Car, 15 Yds
B. Bowers
5 Rec, 58 Yds
28. New England Patriots (2-6)
+1
This is one of those wins where you don't really care that it could potentially hurt yout draft stock, because delivering the soul-crushing loss to one of your rivals to essentially end any pf their playoff hopes this early into the season, is worth it. Hopefully Maye heals quickly.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Jets, 25-22
J. Brissett
15/24, 132 Yds
R. Stevenson
20 Car, 48 Yds
K. Boutte
3 Rec, 46 Yds
29. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6)
-2
This seems harsh, until you look at the injury log at WR. All 3 starting recievers are hurt at the moment, and not in line to play next week. Considering that was the strength of the team, taking that away, there isn't a lot left.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Packers, 30-27
T. Lawrence
21/32, 308 Yds, 2 TD, INT
T. Bigsby
18 Car, 78 Yds
B. Thomas
3 Rec, 60 Yds, TD
30. New York Jets (2-6)
-6
Is this extreme? At this point, no not really. There is no reason they should have lost to the Patriots without Drake Maye. Not a single one. Because they did, their season is 99% over for sure. Hard to have positive takeways at this point, only thing you can be hopeful for is that Ben Johnson wants to come here in the offseason.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Patriots, 25-22
A. Rodgers
17/28, 233 Yds, 2 TD
B. Hall
16 Car, 80 Yds
G. Wilson
5 Rec, 113 Yds
31. Tennessee Titans (1-6)
-1
They looked like they were in the game for awhile there, until they let up 35 unanswered points. That being said, I wouldn't want to go into Detroit right now with how hot they are, and all things considered, competing for a quarter and a half is an achievement in itself.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Lions, 52-14
M. Rudolph
22/38, 266 Yds, TD 2 INT
T. Pollard
20 Car, 94 Yds
C. Ridley
10 Rec, 143 Yds
32. Carolina Panthers (1-7)
-1
It is really, really hard to find a franchise worse than the Carolina Panthers right now. There is almost not a single positive to takeaway from this team's season thus far, not a single player I can point to that has been consistent the entire year, besides maybe Chubba Hubbard. It will be difficult for this team to get another win this season.
Last Week's Game:
Lost to the Broncos, 28-14
B. Young
24/37, 224 Yds, 2 TD, 2 INT
C. Hubbard
15 Car, 56 Yds
J. Coker
4 Rec, 78 Yds, TD
