Better late than never, right? This will be the first of 2 mock drafts I do this draft season, potentially a 3rd. This mock draft is 2 rounds, with no trades. I do think there will be trades in the real draft, however, there is no obvious trade down spot, along with everyone having a first round pick, it is very hard to predict. However, Let's get into it anyways.
1.. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward - QB - Miami
This one has been lay-up for around a month now. Cam Ward is the only premier QB talent in this class, and with the Titans in need of one, it's a simple match-made in heaven. You won't find any mock draft that tells you other-wise.
2.. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter - CB/WR - Colorado
There is speculation that this pick is potentially Sanders if they want a QB here, but I think there are 2 realites that the Browns will face: Number 1, Travis Hunter is likely the best player in this entire draft, and he's available at 2. Number 2, they can easily get a QB in round 2, perhaps if they really love Sanders, they could move back into the first to get him. However, This pick should be Hunter or Carter.
3.. New York Giants: Abdul Carter - EDGE - Penn State
The Giants essentially will draft whoever the Browns do not, unless the Browns go QB. I think they would prefer Hunter, but Carter is a potential all-pro conselation prize.
4.. New England Patriots: Will Campbell - OT - LSU
And the Patriots would also, take one of Carter or Hunter if they fall here, but in this case, they get the top tackle. You can never go wrong protecting your young QB, and with the Pats already adding a couple of veteran recievers, this should make Maye feel right at home.
5.. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tyler Warren - TE - Penn State
Trevor Lawrence is going to have to throw to somebody. They lost a considerable amount of weapons in the offseason, and although the front office says they want to run the football effectively, I think Warren can answer potentially both problems, being an elite playmaker, and a elite blocker in the run game.
6.. Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty - RB - Boise State
Jeanty is arguably one of the best players in this class, truly a talent that does not come across often. It is certainly not a reach here, and given the Raiders draft style of drafting best player available, Jeanty is a great addition to the backfield.
7.. New York Jets: Tet McMillan - WR - Arizona
I think looking at this wide reciever room for the Jets, if the 2025 season is a disaster, then they could be saying goodbye to Garrett Wilson. This is an insurance policy and an elite potential number 1 guy for Justin Fields.
8.. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker - EDGE - Georgia
The first Georgia defender off the board, but certainly not the last. Walker should fill the hole Burns left.
9.. New Orleans Saints: Jihaad Campbell - LB - Alabama
Campbell is a guy who will only continue to rise up draft boards, as he is the best overall defensive weapon in the entire class. Can pass rush, and cover anybody, and the Saints could use some serious talent. I don't see them taking Sanders here, as there are far too many other issues to tend to in New Orleans before QB.
10.. Chicago Bears: Mason Graham - DL - Michigan
Graham headlines an elite defensive line class, and is an immediate impact up front, something the Bears need after addressing the offensive line in free agency.
11.. San Francisco 49ers: Armand Membou - OT - Missouri
Maybe the most versatile lineman in the class, Membou can instantly slot in wherever the Niners need him, while also having all-pro upside.
12.. Dallas Cowboys: Matthew Golden - WR - Texas
The Cowboys need pass catchers bad, and Golden might be the best in the class, so this is an easy fit.
13.. Miami Dolphins: Tyler Booker - IOL - Alabama
The Dolphins have many holes, so it is very likely that they trade back here, but if they stick, it makes the most sense to sure up the holes they have in the trenches first.
14.. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland - TE - Michigan
Last draft, I was praying that Bowers fell to the Colts, as it would've been a great fit. This year, they finally get their security blanket for Richardson.
15.. Atlanta Falcons: Jahdae Barron - CB - Texas
Barron falls in this draft, but that doesn't mean he isn't talented, as he is likely the second best defensive back in this class, and the Falcons could use some talent on the back-end.
16.. Arizona Cardinals: Mykel Williams - EDGE - Georgia
Much like the Falcons, the Cardinals need elite talent on the defensive side of the ball, and Williams has one of the highest upsides of any of the pass rushers in the class.
17.. Cincinnati Bengals: Will Johnson - CB - Michigan
The Bengals have the offensive side of the ball figured out, so when a great defender falls in your lap, it is an easy pick.
18.. Seattle Seahawks: Grey Zabel - IOL - N. Dakota State
Potentially a reach, but Zabel is a day 1 talent at a position that the Seahawks vitally need.
19.. Tampa Bay Bucs: Mike Green - EDGE - Marshall
Green fits the build of Tampa pass rushers, and this draft that is what Tampa needs.
20.. Denver Broncos: Luther Burden III - WR - Missouri
There is not a better fit for a reciever to go to Denver than Burden. He will fit into that Sean Payton system like a puzzle piece.
21.. Pittsburgh Steelers: Shedeur Sanders - QB - Colorado
The fall is over. The Steelers, Titans, and Browns are realistically the only teams willing to spend a high draft choice on a QB, and considering Sanders has fallen, the Steelers nab him up. I think there is a reality where the Steelers would have to move up to ensure they land their QB.
22.. Los Angeles Chargers: James Pearce Jr - EDGE - Tenn.
The Chargers could use some upgrades on offense, but with the way the board has shaken out, grabbing a productive edge rusher like Pearce is perfectly fine with them.
23.. Green Bay Packers: Emeka Egbuka - WR - Ohio State
I realize that the Packers already have a slot reciever in Reed, however, none of the recievers in that room are as talented as Egbuka. He will become the number 1 option by year 2, much like Smith-Njigba.
24.. Minnesota Vikings: Malaki Starks - S - Georgia
The Vikings will have to replace Harrison Smith soon, and Starks not only does that, but he is the best free safety in the class.
25.. Houston Texans: Kelvin Banks Jr. - OT - Texas
They need a replacement for Tunsil, and Banks has the upside to slot in and be a great tackle for the Texans.
26.. Los Angeles Rams: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
Hairston fills a need that the Rams have had since Ramsey left. Potentially the missing piece for that defense.
27.. Baltimore Ravens: Nick Emmanwori - S - S. Carolina
With Hamilton almost playing a sub-linebacker position, he has a new friend that is also positionless for the Ravens, giving offensive coordinators nightmares.
28.. Detroit Lions: Derrick Harmon - DL - Oregon
Harmon is an immediate game changer in the run game for a team that is certainly in win now mode.
29.. Washington Commanders: Omarion Hampton - RB - North Carolina
The Commanders have come out and said they want a 3 down running back. Well, Here you go.
30.. Buffalo Bills: Kenneth Grant - DL - Michigan
The Bills are a canidate to move up, however here they get a guy to bolster their run defense.
31.. Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Simmons - OT - Ohio State
The Chiefs will almost certainly address the offensive line with this pick, here I go a seasoned player who has played in big games.
32.. Philadelphia Eagles: Donovan Ezeiruaku - EDGE - Boston College
The rich get richer with another elite pass rusher to add to their arsenal.
ROUND 2
33.. Cleveland Browns: Jaxson Dart - QB - Ole Miss
34.. New York Giants: Josh Conerly Jr. - OT - Oregon
35.. Tennessee Titans: Shemar Stewart - EDGE - Texas A&M
36.. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trey Amos - CB - Ole Miss
37.. Las Vegas Raiders: Elic Ayomanor - WR - Stanford
38.. New England Patriots: Walter Nolen - EDGE - Ole Miss
39.. Chicago Bears: Marcus Mbow - OT - Purdue
40.. New Orleans Saints: Mason Taylor - TE - Saints
41.. Chicago Bears: TreVeyon Henderson - RB - Ohio State
42.. New York Jets: Benjamin Morrison - CB - Notre Dame
43.. San Francisco 49ers: Azareye'h Thomas - CB - FSU
44.. Dallas Cowboys: Quinshon Judkins - RB - Ohio State
45.. Indianapolis Colts: Shavon Revel Jr. - CB - E. Carolina
46.. Atlanta Falcons: Nic Scourton - EDGE - Texas A&M
47.. Arizona Cardinals: Donovan Jackson - IOL - Ohio State
48.. Miami Dolphins: Darius Alexander - DL - Toledo
49.. Cincinnati Bengals: Landon Jackson - EDGE - Arkansas
50.. Seattle Seahawks: Carson Schwesinger - LB - UCLA
51.. Denver Broncos: Kaleb Johnson - RB - Iowa
52.. Seattle Seahawks: Aireonte Ersery - OT - Minnesota
53.. Tampa Bay Bucs: Darien Porter - CB - Iowa State
54.. Green Bay Packers: Demetrius Knight Jr. - LB - S. Carolina
55.. Los Angeles Chargers: Jayden Higgins - WR - Iowa St.
56.. Buffalo Bills: Tre Harris - WR - Ole Miss
57.. Carolina Panthers: Jalen Royals - WR - Utah State
58.. Houston Texans: Tate Ratledge - IOL - Georgia
59.. Baltimore Ravens: Jonah Savaiinaea - OT - Arizona
60.. Detroit Lions: Jared Wilson - IOL - Georgia
61.. Washington Commanders: Isaiah Bond - WR - Texas
62.. Buffalo Bills: Lathan Ransom - S - Ohio State
63.. Kansas City Chiefs: Joshua Farmer - DL - Florida State
64.. Philadelphia Eagles: Chris Paul Jr. - LB - Ole Miss
