The later we get into the season, the less there is to say about teams already eliminated from the playoffs.
1..Philadelphia Eagles (12-2)
+1
Simply a perfectly played game by a phenomenal roster. There was concerns about this team's passing game, and they responded by a near 300 passing yards game. The Steelers are an excellent team and was no easy win, and they played utterly perfectly.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Steelers, 27-13
J. Hurts
25/32, 290 Yds, 2 TD
S. Barkley
19 Car, 65 Yds
A. Brown
8 Rec, 110 Yds, TD
2..Buffalo Bills (11-3)
+1
Wow, they did it, they beat the Lions. In some ways, you could say the Lions beat themselves, but there has to be credit given to this Bills team, they scored 48 points. This is very likely a Superbowl preview, and if it was, we are in for a treat come febreary.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Lions, 48-42
J. Allen
23/34, 362 Yds, 2 TD
J. Cook
14 Car, 105 Yds, 2 TD
T. Johnson
5 Rec, 114 Yds
3..Detroit Lions (12-2)
-2
I genuinely didn't expect to be dropping the Lions from the top spot at all this season. But, the injuries have piled up, including Montgomery now. The defense has also been suspect with all the injuries, so they had to drop a few spots. Do I still think this team is elite? Absolutely, I wouldn't expect this offense to really slow down all that much, and they were still close to beating the Bills, the best AFC team.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Bills, 48-42
J. Goff
38/59, 494 Yds, 5 TD
J. Gibbs
8 Car, 31 Yds, TD
A. St. Brown
14 Rec, 193 Yds, TD
4..Minnesota Vikings (12-2)Â
+1
It gets to a point where their record is no joke. Maybe the second most well-rounded team in the league, as there has been times this season they have had to rely on their offense, and games where they've relied on their defense. Monday night, it was more of the same. A dangerous team.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Bears, 30-12
S. Darnold
24/40, 231 Yds, TD, INT
A. Jones
18 Car, 86 Yds, TD
J. Jefferson
7 Rec, 73 Yds, TD
5. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4)
-1
The Steelers effectively removed Saquon from dominating the game, however, they couldn't stop the pass, nor get the running game going at all. Russell Wilson almost lead them in rushing yards, and the fumble by Najee on a potential game-tying drive in the 4th was the nail in the coffin. This team missess George Pickens, but the truth is, if Najee didn't fumble, they would have been right in that game, without any right to be. They are still dangerous.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Eagles, 27-13
R. Wilson
14/22, 128 Yds, TD
N. Harris
6 Car, 14 Yds
C. Austin
5 Rec, 65 Yds
6..Kansas City Chiefs (13-1)
-
ONLY the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs can make a two touchdown win look bad. Couldn't run the ball, passing game was weak, and they punted 9 TIMES against the Browns. Oh, and the Browns also gave them not one, not two, but FIVE turnovers, and they came away with 3 scoring drives all game. This game should have been 50-something to 7, instead, only 21-7. And the Mahomes injury now is a concern, because they have a couple of losable games coming up on the schedule.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Browns, 21-7
P. Mahomes
19/38, 159 Yds, 2 TD
K. Hunt
13 Car, 45 Yds
X. Worthy
6 Rec, 46 Yds
7..Baltimore Ravens (9-5)
-
A good outing for sure, but it was against the Giants. Lamar looked great, and so did the defense, but nothing to really read into here.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Giants, 35-14
L. Jackson
21/25, 290 Yds, 5 TD
D. Henry
14 Car, 67 Yds
R. Bateman
3 Rec, 80 Yds, 2 TD
8..Green Bay Packers (10-4)
-
This is another incredibly dangerous team from the NFC North. The odds that there is an NFC North team in the NFC Championship is essentially guaranteed at this point. Packers are playing timely and safe football. Nothing that really jumps out at you, but it certainly gets the job done, and winning by multiple possessions to a potential playoff team.Â
Last Week's Game:
beat the Seahawks, 30-13
J. Love
20/27, 229 Yds, 2 TD
J. Jacobs
26 Car, 94 Yds, TD
C. Watson
3 Rec, 56 Yds
9. Houston Texans (9-5)
+2
One of Stroud's better games this season. Curious to see how hot this team could potentially get in the playoffs.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Dolphins, 20-12
C. Stroud
18/26, 131 Yds, 2 TD
D. Ogunbowale
1 Car, 35 Yds
J. Mixon
5 Rec, 33 Yds
10. Washington Commanders (9-5)
-1
I'm dropping the Commanders just a little bit because it was a concerning win against the Saints. Daniels was sacked 8 times in the game, and at this point, that can't start happening to this team if they want to go far.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Saints, 20-19
J. Daniels
25/31, 226 Yds, 2 TD
J. Daniels
11 Car, 66 Yds
T. McLaurin
7 Rec, 73 Yds, 2 TD
11. Tampa Bay Bucs (8-6)
+2
This team confuses me. One week, they will play a very tight game against the Raiders, then they will blow-out the best scoring defense the league. Is the ceiling high for this team? For sure, but there isn't consistency at play here, which is concerning.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Chargers, 40-17
B. Mayfield
22/27, 288 Yds, 4 TD, INT
B. Irving
15 Car, 117 Yds
M. Evans
9 Rec, 159 Yds, 2 TD
12. Denver Broncos (9-5)
-
Despite winning the game, this felt like they got exposed a little bit. I'd say Nix's rookie of the year campaign is winding down, and everyone can sort of realize just how much heavy-lifting the defense is doing for this team. Nix is average, and there is little to no run game here. The defense is still elite, but there is a ceiling here.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Colts, 31-13
B. Nix
20/33, 130 Yds, 3 TD, 3 INT
B. Nix
8 Car, 23 Yds
C. Sutton
3 Rec, 32 Yds, TD
13. Los Angeles Chargers (8-6)

Where do you go from here after a humiliating loss, and now have a short week against a division rival that is vital for their playoff hopes? The season certainly isn't over, but of all the teams in playoff position at the moment, this is the team you want to play.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Bucs, 40-17
J. Herbert
21/33, 195 Yds, 2 TD, INT
G. Edwards
8 Car, 23 Yds
L. McConkey
5 Rec, 58 Yds, TD
14. Seattle Seahawks (8-6)
-
It appears the Geno era in Seattle may be over. Outside of the general surprise at Geno's play in the first 2 seasons, the needle was never pushed after the Wilson trade, and they will be looking at QB options in the coming future.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Packers, 30-13
G. Smith
15/19, 149 Yds, INT
Z. Charbonnet
8 Car, 54 Yds, TD
J. Smith-Njigba
10 Rec, 83 Yds
15. Los Angeles Rams (8-6)
-
I think you could look at this as sort of finding a way to win, but considering the offense looked like it was only hurting itself, it's not easy to be excited after that.
Last Week's Game:
beat the 49ers, 12-6
M. Stafford
16/27, 160 Yds
K. Williams
29 Car, 108 Yds
P. Nacua
7 Rec, 97 Yds
16. Arizona Cardinals (7-7)
+1
A good bounce-back win, but the playoff hopes are still a little bit on their last lifeline.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Patriots, 30-17
J. Burrow
23/30, 224 Yds
J. Conner
16 Car, 110 Yds, 2 TD
T. McBride
9 Rec, 87 Yds
17. Cincinnati Bengals (6-8)
+2
The Bengals have a path, and it is possible for them to still make the playoffs. The hardest challenge for them will be beating the Steelers head to head, and the Broncos losing to their division rivals: Chargers and Chiefs.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Titans, 37-27
J. Burrow
26/37, 271 Yds, 3 TD, 2 INT
C. Brown
25 Car, 97 Yds, TD
J. Chase
9 Rec, 94 Yds
18. Atlanta Falcons (7-7)
+2
An okay win, but it is overshadowed by the fact that the Bucs beat a good team by a lot, not a bad team by 6.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Raiders, 15-9
K. Cousins
11/17, 112 Yds, TD, INT
B. Robinson
22 Car, 125 Yds
D. London
3 Rec, 53 Yds, TD
19. Miami Dolphins (6-8)

This is a loss that most likely ends their season, and it was a sad season to say the least. However, I am happy they they are getting Malik Washington involved.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Texans, 20-12
T. Tagovailoa
29/40, 196 Yds, TD, 3 INT
D. Achane
12 Car, 41 Yds
M. Washington
5 Rec, 52 Yds
20. San Francisco 49ers (6-8)
-4
The Rams defense gave up 40 points to the Bills just last week, and the best the Niners could muster with their season on the line, was 6 points. Anyways, with the season essentially over, hard decisions are going to have to be made at the QB position.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Rams, 12-6
B. Purdy
14/31, 142 Yds, INT
I. Guerendo
16 Car, 57 Yds
G. Kittle
4 Rec, 61 Yds
21. Dallas Cowboys (6-8)
+1
Winning now is only hurting them in the long run at this point.
Last Week's Game:
beat the Panthers, 30-14
C. Rush
18/29, 214 Yds, 3 TD
R. Dowdle
25 Car, 149 Yds
C. Lamb
9 Rec, 116 Yds, TD
22. Indianapolis Colts (6-8)

Let's be real, did anyone really think the Colts were good enough to sneak into the playoffs, or really, do anything once they got there? I don't mean to sound harsh, but that's the truth of the matter.
Last Week's Game:
lost to the Broncos, 31-13
A. Richardson
17/38, 172 Yds, 2 INT
J. Taylor
22 Car, 107 Yds
M. Pittman Jr

Now that they are eliminated, I hope there is no debate on whether they made the right choice in April, because they absolutely did.
